The torrent of japanese number games has a new addition to the existing canon of Sudoku, Fotoshiki and others, with the arrival of Nasufuta (same pairs).
The idea is simple - there is a six by six grid requiring the numbers 1 to 6 in each of the rows and columns. The only clues to the placement are the random dotted numbers in the boxes, and numbers sat between the boxes, showing the sum.
I devised these as a shorter version of Sudoku, with a little less demanding logic, while at the same time, playing with the different ways you can add certain numbers to make the same number (6=1+5=2+4). Better people would have created these for educational benefit or a slice of the Guardian coffers. I was bored.

There are plans to make a Nasufuta Devilish, whereby the six numbers used are consecutive but not revealed. In the meantime, please feel free to download the .pdfs below, and let me know how you get on with them/if you'd like some more.
